These mornings, when the world seems so broken,
I skip the news and social media.
Instead, I go outside and contemplate the sky …
Morning dawning in the firmament.
I watch the creatures around me
Doing creaturely things:
Hopping, flying, walking, breathing.
I am, in my little life,
Part of a great, still-beautiful world.
I breathe myself into union
with the One who is never broken.
AMEN!
Thanks, my friend. ❤️
Thank you Beth. You always give my heart a lift. Like today’s post or pictures of Jack, you always pass along joy
Thank you so much. Blessings.
Beautiful reminder of our blessings. Thank you.
Thank you!!
I loved your poem. It was perfect for these troubling times. We’re doing our best to do the same thing. Today we were fortunate enough to see God’s handiwork in Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park.
Thanks so much Dorothy. I have never been out there in that part of the west and hope to see it one day. Safe travels.
This is lovely, Beth!
Thank you, Mary Lou.
Thanks for parting waters
